Natural Hair Vent

While being natural has it's perks, let's not all sit here and act like it doesn't come with the territory or struggling to find what works for your hair, people and their idocity and just basically the trials and tribulations of this hair journey. I, for one, am still learning my hair. People around me are still coming to terms with it, too, so it's a journey for everyone involved - whether we admit to it or not.

1. Don't touch my hair. Nothing grinds my gears more than this. Touch your own hair. I don't know where your musty hands has been.

2. Referring and comparing my hair to inanimate objects and fuzzy things are offensive to me. It's not cute or funny, and I consider it a little bit ignorant.

3. Naturals swear by oils but it's always been a hit or miss for me. Maybe I'm doing it wrong still, who knows. I just know my hair hates too much oil.

4. I hate seeing how a product works on someone's hair and I go out and impulse buy it thinking I'll get the same results only to be greeted with disappointment and a waste of money. Oh, the struggle of this hair of mine.

I'll add more later.

New to blogging!

My first entry! Setting up the blog has been fun. Designed the header and still tweaking the HTML/CSS tidbits here-and-there. Will soon get to posting.
